Humanitri’s Child and Family Advocate focuses on the needs of children within all areas of our programming. The family is oftentimes severely impacted both economically and emotionally by the crisis of homelessness or imprisonment, and needs the services, guidance, and network of resources that an advocacy worker sensitive to their needs can offer. The advocate ensures that our clients’ children are enrolled in school or a viable daycare program and that the principal, teachers, and other childcare professionals are aware of their special situation and willing to accommodate their needs.
