Courtney Kumar
COURTNEY KUMAR
Executive Director
Courtney is excited to join Humanitri as the new executive director, bringing more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, systems management, supportive housing, homeless services, and grant development. Her commitment to Humanitri’s mission is deeply personal, rooted in her own experience of homelessness during childhood. This lived experience fuels her passion for helping individuals and families achieve housing stability and for strengthening community partnerships that create lasting solutions to homelessness. Courtney received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and statistics from Bowling Green State University and is currently pursuing a master’s of public administration at Northwest Missouri State University. She is dedicated to advancing Humanitri’s impact through innovative leadership, strategic collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to serving the community.
Ashley Moore
ASHLEY MOORE
Director of Programs
Ashley Moore is a diligent advocate for children and families. She has worked in the field of social services since 2012 in a variety of roles, most recently as a child abuse and neglect investigator for the State of Missouri. She holds a master's degree in social work from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in human services and psychology from Missouri Baptist University.

SHANIQUE PRECHARD
Family Support Specialist
Shanique Prechard has bachelor's degrees in both social work and sociology and is currently enrolled in the master's level dual counseling program for clinical mental health and school counseling at Missouri Baptist University. She has a solid background in case management, job placement, and residential supervision of at-risk youth.
MYRANDA STEWART
Child and Youth Specialist-Occupational Therapist
Myranda Stewart is a passionate new occupational therapy graduate with fieldwork experiences in pediatrics, community, and mental health settings. She strives for holistic interventions to help clients achieve their goals. She received her bachelor's degree in science at Missouri Southern State University as well as a master's degree in occupational therapy at Maryville University.
SAM HAYES
Maintenance Supervisor
Sam Hayes has been with Humanitri since January 2000. As maintenance supervisor, Sam is responsible for all Humanitri properties and does whatever is needed to ensure that our families live in safe and attractive spaces. He serves as the joyful face of Humanitri as he goes out to pick up donations or works side-by-side with our many volunteer teams. If you know Sam...you love Sam!

Janet Schaper is a retired Accounting Manager who served with the Lou Fusz Automotive Network for over 20 years. She faithfully dedicates her time to multiple non-profit causes.

ANNA EAKER
Community Engagement Coordinator
Anna Eaker has been working in the nonprofit and education realm for over a decade. Her most recent role was with Ignite Reading. She loves building relationships and serving others in our community. She has a bachelor's in English Literature from the University of Baltimore, a master's in Comparative Literature from University College London, and a master's in American Studies from Saint Louis University.
CARA HOEVET
Finance Administrator
Cara is thrilled to join the Humanitri team as the Finance Administrator. She brings more than 10 years of nonprofit financial management and development experience to the position. Cara spent 15 years in policy, communications, and public relations with the federal government before moving to the nonprofit sector. She has devoted the latter part of her career to serving women and children in St. Louis, Haiti, and Kenya. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
